While I was pregnant with Lincoln we always joked that he would have a big head since Matt and I have been known for our large heads. Our hunch was confirmed after he was born because yes his head was huge.

But how huge is it????

Today he had his two month check up and...

his head is in the 

99th

percentile.

I guess it can't get much bigger than that.

Also he is

13 pounds

and

24 inches

Lincoln is Two Months Old!

It's crazy to think that Lincoln is two months old. Time is flying! 

At two months Lincoln...

... loves when his daddy reads to him

... is becoming quite talkative

... loves to hit anything that you hang above him

... loves his lady bug toy and his elephant security blanket

... loves to go for drives

... touches and feels everything

... gets jealous of mommy and daddy eating food

... kicks his legs and is constantly squirming

Lincoln's Blessing

Just a few quick pictures from Lincoln's blessing. He was such a good boy and didn't cry at all. It was so much fun to have so much family from both the Angel side and the Houser side of the family visit for the weekend. 

2013 Reflections

Since today marks the start of the New Year, I thought I'd take a moment to reflect on this past year.

Looking back it's crazy to think about everything that happened in 2013 but I wouldn't change anything. This year has probably been the hardest of my life but it has been so worth it and I feel like I have grown so much.

I married the love of my life on January 4th and everyday I am reminded of how lucky I am. Matt is the greatest husband and an even better dad. He is so good to me and does so much to take care of Lincoln and I. He is so hardworking and so talented.

I survived pregnancy and labor. I survived the hardest physical challenge I have ever faced. I watched my body transform and perform a miracle.

I went to school and worked so hard in my design classes. I have learned so much and grown so much in my talents. I am so grateful that my major directly helps me to develop this talent that I have been blessed with.

I became a mother. I have realized that I can love more and worry more than I could have ever imagined. I have reached the point of exhaustion and gotten past it. I have been strengthened so much in this journey by my Heavenly Father and I couldn't have done anything without Him and my Husband.

I have realized that there is so much that I can't control but I have also realized that there is so much I can control.

I have seen Heavenly Father's hand in my life more than ever before. I am amazed at how much I have been blessed with this past year and all of the many miracles that have taken place in my life.

I look forward to 2014 and being able to grow as a wife and a mother. I look forward to a year with Matthew and Lincoln and all of the adventures that life brings.
